When you request an estimate, create an account, book a service, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, service address(es), details about your home (such as bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage), and notes about your cleaning.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your full card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored on our servers; we retain only a secure token and limited details (such as the card brand and last four digits) needed to charge you after service.

Photographs

Our cleaners may take “before and after” photographs of work areas for quality assurance and to document the condition of the property. We do not publish photographs that identify you or your property without your consent.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, and referring website.

How We Use Information

• To provide estimates, schedule and deliver cleanings, and process payments;
• To communicate with you about bookings, updates, and (with your consent) promotions;
• To respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
• To improve our website and services and maintain security.

Text Messaging & Mobile Information

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send service-related and (with your consent) promotional text messages. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help.

We do not share your mobile opt-in or SMS consent, or your phone number for the purpose of text messaging, with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers may be shared only with the service providers that help us send messages and operate our service, solely for that purpose.

How We Share Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate — for example, our payment processor (Stripe), our database and hosting providers, and our messaging/email providers — under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our team, or the public.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and understand how our website is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide services, comply with our legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may, at any time:

• Access and update your account details and saved addresses from your profile;
• Opt out of promotional emails (via the unsubscribe link) and texts (reply STOP);
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you; and
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@homeglowcleaning.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to safeguard your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and you must be at least 18 to create an account or book a service.
